Partial Dentures

Partial dentures are an excellent solution when you still have some of your natural teeth remaining. They fill the gaps left by missing teeth, restoring your ability to chew properly and speak clearly while preventing your remaining teeth from shifting out of position.

Types of Partial Dentures

At Rangiora Denture Clinic, we offer three main types of partial dentures to suit different needs and budgets:

Acrylic Partial Dentures Acrylic partials are a cost-effective option that can be fabricated quickly. They consist of an acrylic base with replacement teeth attached, and are secured using metal clasps that grip onto your natural teeth.

Metal Framework Partials Metal partial dentures use a thin, lightweight cobalt-chromium framework that provides superior strength and a more precise fit. They are thinner and less bulky than acrylic alternatives, making them more comfortable to wear.

Flexible Partial Dentures Flexible partials are made from a specialised nylon-based material that is lightweight, comfortable, and virtually invisible. They blend naturally with your gum tissue and do not require metal clasps, making them an aesthetically pleasing option.

The Consultation Process

During your free initial consultation, Justin will assess your remaining teeth, discuss your preferences, and recommend the best type of partial denture for your specific situation. We take into account your lifestyle, budget, and aesthetic goals to ensure you receive the ideal solution.

Quality On-Site Fabrication

Every partial denture is crafted in our on-site Rangiora laboratory. This means we maintain complete quality control throughout the fabrication process and can make adjustments quickly without waiting for external laboratory work.
